March 17th falls on a Friday this year so you have no excuse not to enjoy yourself.

Here are our top five spots in Kelowna that'll help you have a jigging good time.

1) O'Flannigan's Pub

If you’re looking for a traditional feel of the luck o’the Irish, O’Flannigan’s Pub will transport you far afield to a place of green ribbons, shamrocks and yes - pipe bands. Pipe bands will play through the pub a couple of times throughout the night. Live music starts at 5 p.m., but you’re be better off coming sooner. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and in previous years, they’ve reached capacity by 3 p.m. Cover is $10.

2) OK Corral Cabaret

Okay, now you’re looking to dance a wee bit?

The OK Corral Cabaret is the place to be if you love green beer, dirty leprechauns (that's a drink FYI) and dancing. A DJ will be mixing Irish tunes into the night. This kick-up-your-heels party starts at 8 p.m. and runs until 2 a.m. There's even a two-step lesson to kick things off and no cover.

3) Doc Willoghby's Downtown Pub

So you wanna rock out?

Kelowna’s local rock band, Wild Son, will get the pub party rolling at Doc’s. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the band goes on at 10 p.m. It's sure to be a rocking good time - just don't ask for green beer here. Cover is $10.

4) Kelly O'Bryan's Neighborhood Restaurant

Eat, drink and be Irish is Kelly O’s catch-phrase. Doors open at 11 a.m. and capacity could be reached shortly after. No kidding around here. Get ready to line up early if you are a true lover of the Irish. This full day of merriment ends at midnight.

5) Level Night Club

Now, everyone’s turning in and you’re ready to keep this party going?

If you’re looking for something that takes that party into the late night hours, Level will be your hot spot for dancing till ya drop. Expect a club-meets-patty-beats vibe. Party starts at 10 p.m.
