Like many businesses in the Okanagan, Scandia Golf and Games along Hwy 97 was hit hard by this week's flooding.

When Mill Creek overflowed last weekend, the long-time Kelowna business saw extensive flooding to both its outdoor and indoor mini golf courses.

More Info!

While the outdoor mini golf course is ready reopen with the rest of Scandia today at 5 p.m., the indoor "jungle" mini golf located downstairs will need to be completely replaced.

"We will have to get the place gutted downstairs and put in a new golf course," said General Manager Sebastian Ribbink.

"This original mini golf course was done 30 years ago, so it's an opportunity to put in a more up to date course."

With heavy rain in the forecast for Thursday, Scandia won't have a chance to begin rebuilding the downstairs for sometime.
