Members of the Kelowna, Peachland, Rutland and Winfield KGH Foundation banned together to raise $11,000 for the Kelowna General Hospital by hosting the 65th Annual Blossom Time Fair.

The fair was held at Strathcona Park on May 13th.

Mayor Colin Basran attended and took a moment to talk about the recent flood warnings, as well as thanked the community for showing strong support at the Blossom Time Fair event.

This year the event switched up its traditional look and was set in a relaxed park environment at Strathcona.

“It was so wonderful to see guests of all ages at this year’s Blossom Time Fair,” said Georgiann Kasdorf, Chair of Blossom Time Fair. “The sun was shining and the kids loved playing on the bouncy castle and playground, while also taking in the event festivities. Seeing a new generation involved in giving was very inspirational and I look forward to watching them grow up in this wonderful community.”

Auxillary members of the KGH Foundation are putting this year's funds toward equipment and patient care at the KGH and Interior Health facilities.
