Although it has been in a soft opening period for the past three weeks, a new restaurant in the Mission is officially opening its doors to the public today.

Maestro’s at Manteo is the newest venture at the Eldorado Resort and, as you might expect, it’s a beautiful restaurant nestled along the shores of Okanagan Lake.

You can expect to find plenty of Mediterranean food on the menu with no shortage of delicious and unique selections from the diverse region.

The inspiration for the menu comes from Italy, Greece, Spain, North Africa, Genoa, Nice, Valencia and Split, which means the opportunities are endless.

“Kelowna has many wonderful restaurants so we know we have to deliver a unique culinary and aesthetic experience that is in short, second to none,” said Rudy Heider, director of hospitality for Argus Properties, which owns the Eldorado Resort.

The restaurant has a capacity for 80 guests inside and another 120 on another spectacular lakeside terrace that will surely compete with the other patios in the area for one of the best in the city.

“Our setting on the lakeshore is just that and we believe our guest experience at Maestro’s will be as well,” added Heider.

“Our goal is simple and lofty. We aim to be recognized as one of Canada’s finest restaurants. That will take time. Our journey begins.”
