Most summer events have been cancelled this year of COVID-19.

While it’s unfortunate, it’s a step that most understand is necessary to stop the spread of COVID-19.

However, as British Columbia reopens, a few smaller, adjusted events that can happen safely have popped up throughout the course of the summer.

That includes a pit stop in Kelowna from the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival on the BC Day long weekend.

The “largest roaming food truck festival in Canada” will be coming up the Coquihalla and Connector and setting up shop in the south parking lot at Prospera Place.

A pair of Okanagan-based food trucks, Surf Side California and Ogopogo Concessions will be set up from noon until 8 pm on both Sat. Aug 1 and Sun. Aug 2 to serve you some delicious grub.

Here’s the full list of vendors who will be there on the long weekend:

The festivities will be drive-thru only due to COVID-19 and all vendors and staff will be using full PPE to keep everyone safe.
