The 45th annual Civic and Community Awards took place on Thursday night, but it wasn’t a grand spectacle at the Kelowna Community Theatre like it usually is.
Instead, the awards were presented virtually through an online video presentation broadcast by the city.
That doesn’t take anything away from all the incredible finalists and winners, who helped shine a positive light on Kelowna in 2019.
