Looking to add a new furry friend to your family?

The Kelowna SPCA is giving you the perfect chance to do so, as it’s offering 50% off all adult cat adoptions for the rest of July.

For an adult cat, the adoption fee is usually $165, meaning you can adopt your new best friend for under $100 for the next two weeks.

With an overwhelming amount of cats coming into the shelter right now, the SPCA is hoping this promotion will get some of them into loving homes.

The half-price promotion begins today and runs until the end of July.

"We’re hoping this promotion will encourage anyone who has been considering cat adoption to take the next step and make it a reality,” explained Sean Hogan, manager of the Kelowna SPCA.

You can visit the SPCA in person at 3787 Casorso Rd. to find the perfect car to fit your home, or check out the adoptable cats online.

Each year, the BC SPCA rescues nearly 15,000 cats and kittens throughout the province.
