Voting day for the civic election is just around the corner and Kelowna’s advanced voting polls open on Wednesday.
Wednesday will be the first of five advanced voting days at six locations throughout the city.
The other four advanced voting days will happen on Saturday, Oct. 8, Wednesday, Oct. 12 and Thursday, Oct. 13 and Friday Oct. 14.
On each of those days, residents can stop in and cast their vote from 8 am to 8 pm.
The only exception will be the voting station at the UBC Okanagan Nechako Residence and Okanagan College Centre for Learning Atrium, which will be open until 6 pm.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Friday, Oct. 14

“It’s important that all residents who are eligible get out and exercise their right to vote, so we want to ensure that voting is accessible and convenient for everyone,” says chief election officer Laura Bentley.
“In addition to the five advance voting days, there will be 13 poll locations open on general voting day, Saturday Oct. 15. Residents can choose the day, place and time to vote that works best for them.”
