The opportunity to travel like a rockstar is coming to Kelowna International Airport this winter.

Premium non-stop flights between Kelowna and Toronto will be available on Air Canada’s A319 Jetz aircraft that’s typically reserved for professional sports teams or touring musicians.

With only 58 seats, the aircraft carries less than half what a typical plane carries, but with concerts and sporting events on hold due to the pandemic Air Canada has made the aircraft available for Christmas and spring break travel.

Starting Oct. 21, flights can be booked between Kelowna and Toronto for travel between Dec. 12 and Jan. 6.

A second schedule for spring break is still being worked out and details can be found here.

The Jetz flight experience also includes upgraded meal service, free drinks, access to lounges in the airport and shorter boarding times.

Meanwhile, fares will be the same as regular business class flights.
