Annual motionball Marathon of Sport raises $140K for Special Olympics programming

Another fun day of inclusive multi-sport has brought on an impressive fundraising total for the 2019 motionball Marathon of Sport. 

Beating its initial goal, the event mustered up an impressive $140,000 to provide more opportunities for aspiring athletes to participate in the programming offered by Special Olympics. 

In addition to gathering funds to help welcome individuals with various diverse-abilities into the inclusive community provided by Special Olympics, motionball aimes to also educate, integrate and celebrate one and all. 

“Once again, we are blown away by the community support we received this past Saturday,” said event director Derek Fuhr.

“To continue to grow and see records broken each year is outstanding. Thank you to everyone who participated in some way – you are changing lives.”
