Another day, another bobcat.

On Sunday, a bobcat was spotted taking an afternoon stroll through a backyard in Kelowna’s Crawford Estates neighbourhood.

Just over 24-hours later on Monday night, the surveillance camera of a home in the Lower Mission caught more footage of the reclusive creature.

"The day before, KelownaNow actually did a story on a different bobcat sighting up the hill from us in Crawford Estates," explained homeowner Jeff Ingram.

"We saw that story and thought 'wow' wouldn't be cool if he came roaming down here."

Ingram says he's had the cameras set up for about four years and other than house cats and that's the first bobcat that's been spotted.

It's a wild week for wildlife in the Okanagan.

Last Friday a resident in Enderby filmed a herd of roughly 30 elk crossing Highway 97 near the Starlight Drive-in theatre just north of Vernon.

According to experts, the recent heavy snowfalls are likely pushing the animals down out of the mountains and into the Valley.
