Another person at Kelowna Secondary School has tested positive for COVID-19.

School District 23 said the individual, whose identity has not been released, is self-isolating at home.

The school has confirmed several cases of COVID-19 among members in recent weeks.

Interior Health is now dealing with any necessary contact tracing, SD23 explained.

“The safety and well-being of students, families, and staff remains our highest priority,” it added.

“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”

Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 is urged to stay away from school.
