COVID-19 exposure confirmed at Black Mountain Elementary School

A COVID-19 exposure has been confirmed at Black Mountain Elementary School.

Everyone affected is self-isolating at home, the school district said.

Interior Health will use its contact tracing process to follow up with anyone potentially exposed to the virus.

The school district added: “The safety and well-being of students, families, and staff remains our highest priority.

“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”

Anybody showing symptoms of COVID-19 is urged to stay home from school.
