CanadaStays reports Kelowna in top 10 Canadian destinations

As both a summer hot spot and winter wonderland it is no wonder Kelowna is a vital Canadian vacation location. A new report from a popular Canadian vacation rental marketplace has placed the city in the top 10 most travelled to places in the nation.

CanadaStays released its 2018 Canadian Vacation Rental Year in Review on Thursday, which highlighted the company’s booking trends and demand for vacation rentals across the nation.

According to the report, in 2018 over 25,000 families took the opportunity to travel to Canada for some much needed playtime in the Great White North. 

Major cities and popular ski destinations topped the list in terms of booking volume, with Whistler and Toronto, ON taking the #1 and #2 positions.

Kelowna placed eighth on the list, sandwiched between two cities from our neighbouring province, Alberta.
