If you want some time in the spotlight, there’s a potential opportunity coming to Kelowna today.

Okanagan Background Casting will be on site at Boomers Sports Bar and Grill at the Capital News Centre in Kelowna, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to do an informal casting call for a feature film being shot in the Okanagan.

The film, titled Undying, is being shot in Kelowna between Nov. 13 and Dec. 8. The romantic drama takes place in Northern California, and tells a story of young love, loss, and letting go.

"A teenager finds himself trapped in a purgatory searching for a way to make contact with his true love," reads the IMDb description. The star of the film is listed as Liana Liberato, known for her roles in If I Stay, Trust, Best of Me, and To the Bone.

It will be directed by Scott Speer, who also worked on Step Up Revolution and Midnight Sun.

They are looking for a range of extras and some specific background performers to fill some doubles, stand in, and extras roles.

Visit Okanagan Background Casting on Facebook to see a list of roles or email  info@okanaganbackgroundcasting.com for more information.

Okanagan Background Casting says that people may have the opportunity to work one or more days, and the work is paid. Dates are subject to change during filming so flexibility is a must.
