Center of Gravity kicks off tonight, and with it comes a number of things to be excited about.

For festival-goers, you can look forward to a stacked line up of EDM Titans, DJs and legendary hip-hop artists including all nine original members of the Wu-Tang Clan, ZEDD and French Montana.

In addition to the insane acts set to ignite the stage, a number of adrenaline pumping extreme sporting events will also highlight Kelowna’s hottest beach festival.

From Motocross riders soaring up to 60 feet in the air while executing death-defying stunts, and BMX riders and skateboarders performing their best tricks, to some of our nation's best Beach Volleyball athletes and the high-intensity Rugby Sevens tournament, sports fans are in for a weekend of epic proportions.

For those of you wishing you could be a part of all the action offered up for the festival’s eleventh year, you still can be!

Weekend general admission passes are still available for $209.95 plus tax, and you can still snag Tier 2 single day passes for $99.95 plus tax. Click here to get yours!

With an event of this magnitude taking over one of Kelowna's popular beachfront parks for a full weekend, there are a few community changes and reminders you should be aware of.

Additional closures and restrictions will be in place to accommodate the event:

Beach volleyball courts, basketball court, north field, sports field and a portion of Hot Sands Beach at City Park

City Park lakefront promenade (south end)

City Park parking lot

Abbott Street on-street parking between Bernard Avenue and Leon Avenue

Nightly road closure from July 27 to 29 from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Flaggers will be on site to manage traffic flow for the nightly road closure to accommodate ticket holders exiting City Park.

This weekend is going to be an epic one, so get ready for it! Stay safe everyone.
