If you’ve been craving one of Central’s delicious burgers lately, Saturday night is the time to go get one.

The popular Kelowna eatery is holding a fundraiser from 5 pm until 11:30 pm on Saturday, which is for a family that has a “special connection” to Central.

“Nico and Jessica (Isagawa) had their first date here, which then led to their engagement, which led to engagement photos at Central, which then led to the birth of their precious Elara,” explains the event page.

“Elara is only two-years-old and was recently diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve. Elara is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver and is fighting as hard as she can with her parents by her side.”

As the family goes through this unimaginable fight, the Central team is showing their support by hosting the event that will donate 100% of its proceeds to the family.

Elara and her parents have come up with the delicious ‘Sweet & Spicy Burger’, which is a reflection of the young girl’s amazing personality.

Along with the fantastic food, there will also be the chance for people to make cash donations and a silent auction with some incredible prizes donated by local companies.
