(UPDATE: March 28 @ 2:40 pm) - Water service has been restored after a "significant" water line break in Lake Country this morning, the District has confirmed.

Water quality advisory notices have been hand-delivered to properties in the affected area.


(Original story: March 28 @ 8:35 am) - There has been a “significant” water line break in Lake Country this morning.

It occurred on Clement Road at Bottom Wood Lake Road in Winfield, according to the District of Lake Country.

The district said there was a high flow alarm at about 5:45 am and crews attended “immediately.”

Water has been shut down in the area.

“Water service will be restored as quickly as possible once repairs are completed,” the district said in a social media post.
