Crime Stoppers looking to identify 3 suspects in downtown Kelowna boat theft

Residents in the Central Okanagan are being asked to help identify a trio of suspects in a boat theft that happened at the end of April.

In a release issued on Wednesday, the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers shared pictures of the suspects and details of the unsolved crime.

On Saturday, April 29, shortly after 5:30 pm, three males allegedly waited for an authorized person to enter a gater marina dock on Water Street in downtown Kelowna.

“Once in the secure area, the alleged thieves stole a grey Zodiac inflatable boat with a 20 HP Mercury outboard motor,” says the release.

Crime Stoppers says the theft was captured on video surveillance.

Anyone who recognizes the three suspects or has any information can contact the Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Alternatively, you can leave an anonymous tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.

Any tips could lead to a reward of up to $2,000.
