Mission Group has announced more details for its expansive Bernard Block project proposed for Kelowna’s downtown core.

Situated on the east end of Bernard Avenue, the 34-storey “Bertram” project will accomodate 257 residential units and several amenities such as a rooftop pool, community garden, outdoor sports area along with a main floor shared workspace.

The tower is the second of two new buildings proposed for the 500 block of Bernard Ave, joining a 16-storey office tower that will reportedly house over 85,000 square feet of Class A office space along with 16,000 sq.ft. of storefront retail and dining space.

Kelowna city council has already approved one of the Bernard Block projects, giving the green light to the 25-storey, 178 unit “Brooklyn” residential tower in August 2018.

Construction on that tower began back in March.
