Meridian Development Corp. has submitted a development proposal for 227-units in three buildings in the Glenmore area.

The proposed development would be located at 630 Boynton Place, which is just east of Knox Mountain.

The buildings would be three-storeys each.

In the development plans, the first building would include 77 units, the second would have 76 and the third would have 74.

A clubhouse would include access to a gym, pool, hot tub and lounge space. There would be two parkades per building – one on the ground level and one underground.

Buildings one and two would have 110 parking spots each while the third would have 106.

Meridian is based in Saskatoon and is requesting that council consider the form and character of the buildings as well as a natural environment development permit and variance permit.

The applicant is looking to increase the height of the building from 13 metres to 19.1 metres and the height of the retaining walls to accommodate the rocky hillside environment – hence the natural environment permit.

This application is circulating at city hall and additional information and comments may be required before it is forwarded to council.
