Police are hoping more witnesses come forward as they investigate a crash near UBC Okanagan earlier this week.

According to the RCMP, a red Harley Davidson was the only vehicle involved in the crash, which happened on Monday around 5:20 pm.

The male rider reportedly lost control of the bike as it exited Hwy 97 southbound onto the University Way exit ramp.

Police did not say whether the rider, who was wearing a dark-coloured plaid jacket, black helmet and jeans, was injured in the crash.

The RCMP is seeking any eye witnesses or dash cam footage of the incident, which includes the motorcycle’s driving behaviour leading up to when it lost control.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and cite file number 2024-19691.
