The Kelowna Winter Street Market returns to Stuart Park this weekend and will bring all sorts of holiday fun to the downtown core.

The family-friendly market happens on Saturday and a few road closures and parking restrictions will be in place to accommodate the event.

From 5:30 am to about 8:30 pm, Water Street will be closed between Queensway and Doyle Avenue. The two roundabouts will remain open, however.

The first bay of the city hall parking lot, adjacent to Water Street, will also be blocked off.

Parking will be available at the Library Plaza Parkade, Memorial Parkade on Ellis Street and Chapman Parkade on Lawrence Avenue.

Traffic control personnel will be stationed in the area to manage traffic throughout the day.

More than 50 artisan and market vendors offering unique, local food, beverages and products will be set up on Water Street near Stuart Park.

The market will be open from 11 am to 6 pm with the city's annual tree light up starting at 4:45 pm.
