There will be evening and overnight delays on a lengthy section of Gordon Drive starting late this weekend.

From Sunday night until Thursday morning, motorists can expect a slow roll on Gordon from Lexington Road, near the Mission fields and H2O, south to Paret Road.

Work will take place from 7 pm to 6 am daily.

Crews will be milling that stretch of Gordon in preparation for paving, which will happen the following week.

“Traffic will be managed by flaggers and signage, and portions of the road may be closed throughout the week,” explained the City of Kelowna.

“Drivers should be aware of any detours posted in the area and plan accordingly.”

This work is part of 10.5 kilometres of Kelowna roads that will be resurfaced in 2022.
