The Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market is gearing up for a busy March before heading back outdoors for the season.

Set to return to its cozy home on the corner of Springfield and Dilworth on Saturday, April 6, the market is capping off their buzzing indoor season with four more weekends of events at the Parkinson Recreation Centre.

Today, Market-goers can start their day off right with “Breakfast at the Market.” For just $8 you can get yourself a delicious, homemade, breakfast sandwich that highlights the fresh ingredients from over five local vendors.

On March 9, you can gear up for spring and enjoy authentic Persian cuisine at the “Spring Ahead Persian Food Day,” followed by the St. Patricks Day market on March 16, where you can bask in the glory of all things green!

After taking a weekend off on March 23rd, the final indoor market will return the last Saturday of the month which featuring a herb demo.

While the indoor markets run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., once everything moves outdoors those of you eager to get your haul of local goodies can not only enjoy an additional hour of shopping but a whole extra day— as things will start ramping up at 8 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday.
