Wilden residents and their visitors now have a new way to get in and out of the new neighbourhood.

The Begbie Road extension is now complete and officially opened to traffic on Nov. 6.

It’s the third and final connection between the Wilden neighbourhood and Glenmore Road.

For Wilden residents, it will shorten the drive to the airport, UBCO and Lake Country by about five minutes.

It also provides an important additional exit from the neighbourhood in case of an emergency.

With the new road also came 14 new building lots within the now-established Hidden Lake Neighbourhood.

Lots are now available and ready for home construction just steps away from Hidden Lake Park and Wilden’s network of trails.
