For some individuals and families who have troubles making ends meet, a haircut is a luxury that they simply can’t afford.

That’s why First Choice Haircutters has launched the #FirstChoiceCares initiative, which has already provided more than 500 free haircuts to the less fortunate across Canada.

“A haircut is transformative, it can pull someone from despair to hope, making them feel valued and cared for,” says Athena Kalkanis, brand director at First Choice Haircutters.

“We’re delighted to see its power in motion, changing lives.”

Next up on the #FirstChoiceCares tour is Kelowna on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 10 am until 5 pm.

The event isn’t happening at a First Choice Haircutters location, it’s actually happening at Mamas for Mamas, located at 120-1735 Dolphin Ave.
