The event locals have been hotly anticipating all summer is finally here!

Denim on the Diamond has officially stepped up to bat at King's Stadium and attendees are loving it.

Enlisted with the task of entertaining a crowd of thousands through the sunkissed vibes of country music, are nine local acts including Tiger Moon, Hot Knox and Ben Klick, along with Kelowna's own Chad Brownlee set to headline at 9 p.m. tonight.

Created as a way to fill a gap in Kelowna's summer send off events, Denim on the Diamond encompasses all of what the Okanagan has to offer.

From craft brew to cider and wine, local food vendors like Dunnenzies and trendy apparel from Okanagan Lifestyle, the event boasts some of our beloved small businesses.

Perfectly blending the hype of C.O.G and the comfort of Music In The Park, attendees are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to cozy up while listening or join in on the two stepping fun front and centre.

Hailed as "Kelowna's backyard party" by organizer Mitch Carefoot, you can also look forward to tons of classic games like bocce ball, cornhole and even beer pong.

Experiencing major FOMO? Don't worry, you can still join in! The party is on until 10 p.m. and tickets are still available for $70 at the main gate, so get those cowboy boots on and head over.
