Bernie’s Supper Club & Cinema hasn’t even opened its doors to the public yet, but Kelowna’s newest venue has already announced a concert.

Thick as Thieves Entertainment will be bringing the Juno-winning group MONOWHALES to Bernie’s on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The three-piece alt-rock band from Toronto won Breakthrough Group of the Year at the 2022 Junos.

Their 2019 single “RDLYD (Really Wanna Let You Down)” reached the number two spot on Canada’s Alternative Rock Chart and was part of the band’s debut album Daytona Beach, which was released last year.

While October is still three months away, Thick as Thieves Entertainment has more planned before that.

The first ever Island Time at Waterfront Park is just over two weeks away and there are still tickets available.

The one-day festival on Kelowna’s iconic island stage will feature The Strumbellas, Reuben and the Dark, Ruby Waters, Ashleigh Ball, Windmills and Art d’Ecco.

Tickets for Island Time, MONOWHALES at Bernie’s and Denim on the Diamond are all available online.
