Flora Cannabis is looking to set up shop on Enterprise Way.
A rezoning application seeking Core Area Mixed Use Retail Cannabis Sales has been accepted and circulated around city hall.
The owners are looking to take over a 55 square metre unit at 2009 Enterprise Way.
The Kelowna-based organization operates six cannabis retail locations in BC, half of which are located in Kelowna.
There are locations on Glenmore Road, Lawrence Avenue and Lakeshore Road.
There are also locations in West Kelowna, Vernon and Prince George.
The application says the Enterprise Way location is “ideally” situated for retail cannabis stores and complies with the specific use provisions of city bylaws.
“We are proud to note that all of our Kelowna locations maintain a perfect compliance record with the BCLCRB,” the application says.
“Flora Cannabis is one of the largest distributors of retail cannabis in the province and upholds the highest standards of operation.”
A staff report can be expected before city council in the near future.
