Residents of the regional district of Sunset Ranch, should be aware that plans are in place to flush the water mains.

Starting June 22 until July 9, RDCO engineering services will be flushing mains weekdays between 8am and 3pm.

The water system services just over 300 properties in the Sunset Ranch community.

While flushing is taking place, water pressure will slightly vary and there is potential for slight discolouration of the water. It's recommended to check your water prior to use, and residents are encouraged to avoid laundry while flushing is taking place.

If you experience any discoloration, you can use the cold water tap until the water runs clear.

Flushing removes sediment deposits that may have accumulated in the systems, and ensures prime water quality.
