Lakeshore Road is set to see a full-day closure this weekend.

The City of Kelowna says in a news release a closure between DeHart Road to Eldorado Road is needed for an “emergent” water service repair and replacement.

The closure will happen between 7 am and 5 pm on Saturday.

A detour will be in place, however.

According to the release from the city, that will be available via Sarsons, Swaisland and Eldorado Road. Signage will be in place and safety personnel will be on site to provide direction.

However, motorists are advised to take alternate routes during the closure.

“The City of Kelowna and onsite crews appreciate your patience during construction and apologize in advance for any inconvenience,” the release says.

Below is a map of the closure and where the detour is.
