Gas prices saw a serious jump in the Central Okanagan on Tuesday.
According to GasBuddy, the majority of stations across the city have already increased to 145.9 cents a litre, with only a handful still at 138.9 cents a litre.
As of 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, one station in West Kelowna, a station in the Lower Mission, The Great Canadian Superstore's gas station and a couple in Lake Country were offering a deal at the pump.
Rising gas prices have been an ongoing story across B.C. this spring, with Vancouver enduring the highest prices in North America for several days.
According to Dan McTeague of GasBuddy.com, gas stations switching over from winter to summer gasoline, a rise in the price of crude oil and the falling Canadian dollar are all factors in the sudden rise.
