Winter has come and gone, and summer will soon be here. There is no better way to kick off summer festivities than an annual Okanagan festival!

If you love beer and music festivals, then the Great Okanagan Beer Festival is the event for you! For three days, the Okanagan will be showered with beer and cider from all over B.C. There will be live music, food trucks and over 70 craft breweries and 140 suds to sip on throughout the festival.

GOBF is more than just a beer-fueled festival! You’ll actually find events at partner venues throughout Kelowna going on all week. Expect live music, brewers socials, tap takeovers, special craft beer pairing menus, yoga and more – check out the full event schedule here.

The not-to-be-missed main event on Saturday, May 12th takes place on the edge of Okanagan Lake and attracts over 3,000 festival-goers. Tickets are still available but going fast and prices go up at the gates, so get them now!

In addition to tasty eats and delicious craft beer, GOBF is introducing a brand new lineup with a wide variety of styles to please all festival lovers.

Hot Knox will kick off the main event and the Lucky Monkey Band will follow them. Fans of the Tragically Hip will be happy to hear that tribute band The Hip Replacements will be joining the fun, too! Finally, Red Chair will deliver a foot-thumping rock show and keep the party going right until the after party at The Train Station Pub.

“Live music has always been a huge part of what makes our festival’s Main Event such a fun and lively experience. We’re thrilled to be able to showcase some of the musical talent that Kelowna has to offer and to bring along a Whistler favourite as well,” said Tara Myers, Partnerships and Events Manager.
