The wait is nearly over Halloween-lovers. One of the first seasonal franchise Halloween stores is set to open for business today!
Halloween Alley has been a staple within Kelowna for the last nine years, popping up in various locations around the city and boasting one of the best selections for costumes and Halloween decor.
For the 2019 spooky season, Halloween Alley will live within the old Home Outfitters building on Banks Rd next door to Michaels.
“We are super excited about this new location, it will be bigger and definitely more visible to the public eye,” said Debroah Lawless, District Coordinator with Halloween Alley.
While some may think it is still a bit too early for Halloween to arrive, Lawless says the store is actually about two weeks behind schedule, as they usually like to be open by Labour Day weekend.
As always, the store will do its part in giving back to the community as well as host fun events throughout the months it’s open.
Lawless says they once again plan to run a costume drive following Hallow’s Eve and donate the items to a local charitable organization.
Last year the recipient was the Kelowna Women’s Shelter.
For the 2019 fright season, locals can expect all the classic costumes we’ve grown to love, in addition to the latest terrifying trends and a few surprises.
“There will be some new products this year and some really cool surprises, I’d say we are definitely on track to having one of the best selections in Kelowna this year," said Lawless.
Adding that she and store manager Tracey Bikow, promise to keep up their reputation for the "best customer service experience" that Kelowna has come to know them for.
Halloween Alley will be located at 102-1500 Banks Road and are expected to be open from 9:30 am until 9 pm.
