Basketball fans of all ages were given a real treat on Thursday night as the Harlem Globetrotters dribbled into Prospera Place.

Select lucky attendees got the chance to meet a few of the players beforehand, learn a few tricks, try on a uniform and snap some commemorative photos.

Once the arena filled, the real show began. More than your average game, the Globetrotters put on a performance backed by immense skill and athleticism.

From impressive ball tricks, and dribbling, to flawless four-pointers, slam dunks and alley-oops, it is no wonder this team is hailed as one of the greatest in the world.

Aside from the bewildering trick shots, the comedic interludes and audience interaction was a major highlight.

Often teasing their opponents the Washington Generals and referees, stealing popcorn and soda from their fans, choreographed dance numbers and dropping buckets of confetti on their audience, the Globetrotters are just as much performers as they are athletes.

From start to finish the show was engaging, exciting, hilarious and impressive, one that was fun for the whole family and certainly ignited the internal spark of future b-ball stars.
