You have a chance to meet with the Kelowna-West byelection candidates today

The Kelowna-West byelection is approaching, and the community has a chance to get a feel for the candidates today.

You'll be able to meet the candidates at the Okanagan Innovation Centre theatre from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m at a forum hosted by the Okanagan Young Professionals Collective.

Five candidates will run in Kelowna-West's upcoming byelection. Those candidates are Shelley Cook (NDP), Ben Stewart (Liberal), Robert Stupka (Green), Kyle Geronazzo (Libertarian) and Mark Thompson (Conservative).

Attendees will have the opportunity to get to know the candidates and their different approaches to governing.

The day will start with opening statements from the candidates at 12 p.m., followed by a question and answer period until 1 p.m.

Candidates will be available until 1:30 p.m. for additional one-on-one conversation with forum attendees.
