The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce has had to secure a bigger venue for the visit of former prime minister Stephen Harper.

Demand to see Harper has been so great that the event is being moved from the Coast Capri Hotel to the Delta Grand to accommodate a larger audience.

The KCC explained: “We made this decision because we felt the need to expand our ability to include more members of the community in this unique opportunity.”

No change has been made to either the ticket prices or the timing.

Tickets cost $100 per person and the event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.

Harper is coming to Kelowna to promote his new book, titled Right Here, Right Now: Politics and Leadership in the Age of Disruption.

He will deliver a presentation before taking questions from the audience.
