As previously reported by NowMedia, Aritzia is coming to Kelowna.

The popular fashion boutique will open a new 4,000 square foot location inside Orchard Park Mall this fall.

A specific date hasn't been released, but the fall 2019 opening is earlier than the initial reports of 2020 provided to NowMedia in June.

A release from the company promises a "light-filled boutique" with plants throughout the retail space, an eclectic selection of floor fixtures and curated works of art, sculptures and books.

"The design is both feminine and spacious," it says.

Aritzia was founded by Brian Hill in 1984 and its headquarters are just four hours away from Kelowna in Vancouver.

The brand operates 63 stores in Canada, which also includes TNA, Wilfred and Babaton stores, and another 21 in the United States, highlighted by a 13,000 square foot flagship location in Manhattan.

Aritzia features in-house brands like Wilfred, TNA, Babaton, Sunday Best and Community, as well as clothing from labels like Levi’s, Adidas, Herschel Supply Co., Six Eleven and more.
