Kelowna Chamber of Commerce announces 2019-20 Board of Directors

The nomination and election process for the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce’s 2019-20 Board of Directors.

With several directors stepping down after 2018, the board has a very different look this time around.

Here’s the full slate of directors who will take office after March 31:

  3. Andrew Brunton, Pushor Mitchell, Director
  4. Ron Cannan, Interior Savings, Director
  5. Derek Gratz, UBC Okanagan, Director
  6. Andrew Ingenhorst, Grant Thornton, Director
  7. Angela Nagy, GreenStep Solutions, Director
  8. Justin O’Connor, Sotheby’s International, Director
  9. Pamela Pearson, Sentes Group, Director
  10. Dan Price, Emil Anderson, Director
  11. Domenic Rampone, West Manufacturing, Director
  12. Jeffrey Robinson, Rush Ihas LLP, Director
  13. Robert Scott, 2M Performance, Director
  14. Shelagh Turner, Canadian Mental Health Association, Director
  15. Laura Vigar, Watson’s Hound Lounge, Director
  16. Ray Wynsouw, CorWest Builders, Director

They’ll be joined by three appointees in Maxine DeHart, from Kelowna City Council, Trevor McTavish, from Junior Chamber International, and Bill Gillett, dean of the Okanagan School of Business.

“I’ve been involved with the Kelowna Chamber for a long time,” said new president Nikki Csek.

“Outgoing president Carmen Sparg and other directors have been generous with their time in the past six months, helping me prepare for this new role as president.”

Directors will be sworn in at the Chamber’s president’s dinner on Thursday, April 25.
