The Kelowna Corn Maze will return to Glenmore this Friday evening to celebrate its 10th year of fall fun in the Okanagan.

To commemorate the milestone, the community-adored corn maze has moved one block north to 539 Valley Road, and expanded to an impressive 150,000 square feet.

While the rain may have put a damper on things, pushing back the targeted opening date by a week, co-owner Dave Bulach has been hard at work making the maze bigger and better than ever before.

“It is going to be pretty cool this year,” said Bulach. “We’ve branded ourselves better, the corn is massive at over 12 feet tall and we have added even more animatronics.”

For those of you who have not had the chance to visit this spooktacular spectacle, the maze boasts over 20 shipping containers filled with terrifying animatronics, each with their own unique scene that looks like something out of a nightmare.

If jump scares and horror isn’t your thing, the maze is the perfect place for families to visit during the day, as the containers stay closed until after sunset.

You can also pick your own pumpkin to buy and take home for carving.

The maze officially opens this Friday evening, running from 11 am to 11 pm on weekends, and 1 pm to 11 pm Monday to Thursday. Admission will be $10 per visitor with family price packages available!
