Kelowna Fan Xpo (KFX) has announced some of what visitors can look forward to at the 2018 event in March.

In a live stream on Facebook, officials dropped some names that will be in attendance on the weekend of March 23 to 25.

Nathalie Boltt, who plays Penelope Blossom on the hit show Riverdale, will be in attendance, as well as some returning favourites.

Returning guests include Aleks Paunovic, directors Lisa Ovies and Jason Bourqu, Phil Guerrero, internationally-known dancer Spandy Andy, and Gary Jones from Stargate SG-1.

Additionally, they announced that the Stargate ship from Stargate SG-1 will be at the event for everyone to enjoy thanks to Empire Movie Props.

Other entertainers at the event will be Takahata 101 from TeamFourStar, and Runaway Four!, a band that will be bringing a set full of video game tunes.

There will also be a cosplay contest with two different categories, competitive and masquerade for adults and kids.

Cosplay artist Bethany McNabb will be attending the weekend full of fun for some panels.

Other events that guests can look forward to this year include a Dungeons and Dragons live show, a retro video game lounge, a “cereal killer” cereal cafe, Lip Sync Battle, and a live improv battle between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Ghostbusters.
