Kelowna RCMP are investigating after receiving reports of “undisclosed threats” made early Friday morning.

Police told NowMedia that the threats involved “properties within the municipality.”

A NowMedia reader said that there was a large police presence at the new St. Paul building on St Paul’s Street this morning due to what they said was a bomb threat.

Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said that officers responded to the call shortly before 6 a.m., but did not confirm what the nature of the threat was.

He added based on the information received, and as a result of their investigation and “ongoing risk assessment,” police do not believe the public is at any risk at this time.
