Kelowna RCMP looking to identify woman after mail stolen from apartment building

Police are investigating after a woman broke into an apartment building and stole mail.

It happened at a building on the 800 block of Saucier Avenue in Kelowna. 

Footage was recorded showing a woman prying open the doors to the complex at about 4:30 am on Nov. 10.

She then proceeded to the mailroom and pried open mailboxes, police explained.

Crime Stoppers, who are hoping to help with the appeal, said it is not known what exactly was stolen. 

The woman is described as white, in her 40s, with purple-tinged hair. 

She was wearing a dark, hooded jacket, Crime Stoppers said.
