Kelowna RCMP seeking armed robbery suspect

RCMP in Kelowna are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in an armed robbery.

Police responded to the robbery at 9:26 p.m. on Thursday, December 7th at the Subway located in the 1100 block of Lawrence Avenue.
 

They learned that a lone male suspect entered the store, produced a gun and demanded money.

The suspect fled the store, in a northwest direction, with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He’s described as a Caucasian male who’s approximately 5’7” with a slender build.

At the time he was wearing dark pants, dark shoes and a black jacket with the hood over his head.

The lone employee was not harmed during the incident and has been offered the support of RCMP victim services.
