UPDATE: Woman found 'safe and sound' after going missing on Sunday, Kelowna RCMP says

(UPDATE: Oct. 20 @ 6:51 am): The woman who went missing on Sunday has been found, Kelowna RCMP said.

She is "safe and sound," according to police.

"Thanks to the media and public for your assistance," Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy added.

(Original story: Oct. 19 @ 11:45 am): Kelowna RCMP has asked for the public’s help to find a missing woman.

Brooke Whitney, 27, was last seen on Sunday at 5 pm. 

Police said they are “very concerned” for Whitney’s health and wellbeing.

They provided the following description of her: 

She was last seen wearing a peach-coloured sweater, grey sweatpants and light pink shoes.

She was also carrying a purple suitcase.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brooke Whitney is urged to contact their local police, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
