Kelowna animation studio to work on Amazon Prime series

Local animation company Yeti Farm Creative has announced it will provide production services for a popular television series on Amazon Prime.

Yeti Farm will create the animations for 52 episodes of the children’s show Pete the Cat.

The company’s 2D and 3D studio is on track to house 200 artists by the end of 2019 where it will provide production work on series like Pete the Cat and Hotel Transylvania on the Disney Channel.

“We are inspired by the quality of productions and talent that we have been able to attract to Yeti Farm Creative since joining forces last year”, said Frank Saperstein, Partner, Yeti Farm Creative.

“Joining with the tremendously talented teams at Surfer Jack, Amazon and Alcon on Pete The Cat is the perfect next step in Yeti’s growth and maturity.”

Founded in 2007, Yeti Farm Creative now provides script to screen production services for brands including Amazon Prime, Corus/Nelvana, 9 Story Media Group, Thunderbird Entertainment, Mondo Media and

Electronic Arts.
