A church in Kelowna has offered prayers to the person who stole their shed.

The shed was donated to the Salvation Army church on Sutherland Avenue to replace an older structure.

It was almost completely constructed, the church said, when they discovered they had a missing part.

The part was ordered and arrived on Oct. 15.

But on Oct. 16, staff found that the entire shed had been stolen from behind the church.

“To whomever currently possess the shed, our prayer is that it will provide you with what you need for this day and the days to come,” the church said in a statement.

“If you find yourself in a place of need, come talk to us, we are here to help!”
