Okanagan Dodge and Kelowna Comedy have teamed up to present Stand Up for the Dogs for Paws It Forward.

This Friday at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge, Alex Miller will be hosting the show with Kelowna’s top talent.

Daniel Harsch, a comic who is a hit with audiences of all ages, will be the special feature act.

“People in Kelowna love their pets, so this show is a wonderful chance to help out some dogs that need some extra love and attention,” said David Kopp, the creator of Kelowna Comedy.

“Paws It Forward brings in animals from all over the world to connect them with loving new owners. This is a huge undertaking and they need community support.”

Admission is $20 per person, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to Paws It Forward.

Kopp adds: “Okanagan Dodge was excited to help with this show and we are thrilled.”

Kelowna Comedy has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local causes and charities through its Comedy for a Cause program.

Doors will open at 6 pm on March 17, and the show will start at 6:30 pm.

Tickets can be purchased online here. Alternatively, reservations can be made by phoning Dakoda’s at (250) 860-9500.
