Kelowna crews to get early start on valve maintenance along Bernard on Wednesday

City of Kelowna crews will be up bright and early Wednesday morning.

They will be performing maintenance on valves along Bernard Avenue between 4-6:30 am.

According to the City, the work will take place between Ethel and Abbott streets, as well as between Spall and Burtch roads.

“Some minor lane adjustments will be made to ensure safety of crews,” a City release noted. “Some construction noise is expected.”

The City added that traffic pattern changes will be clearly marked for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
